Authorization field definition groups.

Authorization field grouping is used when an authorization object has different field combinations.

Particularly used within SAP HR module whenever there is a business requirement to have multiple authorizations for the combination of the HR fields info type, sub type and employee group.

Note:
After creating a new field group a new sheet is created (= divided sheet), there you'll find all the codification rows and domains (splitted) of the field group.

Tip:
By asking the properties of the divided sheet you'll open the field group window.

Field group properties.

• Name: the name given to a field group, this field is mandatory when creating a new field group.
• Alias: another name for field group, if an alias is specified then it will be used when referring to a field group.
• Color: the assigned color for the record selector to a field group.

Note:
This feature can be useful for navigation (find the field groups) in the codification.

• Description: the description (details) of a field group.
• Domains: the domains that are belonging to this field group.
  Define in how many columns you want to split each domain/task.
• Authorization fields definitions: the authorization field definitions (rows) that are belonging to this field group.

Warning:
A field group exists out of two or more authorization field definitions.
Authorization field definitions assigned to a field group must come from the same module and have the same authorization object.
The authorization object must be one single object without any question marks or wildcards.
