Sorting rows & columns

There is the possibility to sort rows and columns in the codification workbook.

The order of the column is the order the domains are defined in the domain decomposition (learn how to reposition domains)

The order of the rows is changeable in the codification workbook.

There are 3 ways of sorting:

Note:
If you follow these rules and you drag a certain row outside a field group or module you're going to move the field group or module with all his rows and not the single row.

Tip:
You can reset / refresh the column / row sorting by clicking the menu Codification > Order fields / Codification > Order domains

Example:
In this example we move a row and afterwards a complete module.

Find & replace functionality

When having the codification workbook open you can press CTRL + F to open the find/replace popup window (or click icon)
This window gives the ability to look for different items on specific locations.

  • You define what you want to find.
  • You give a value to look for.
  • You define your search area.
  • Set the options
  • Click on "Find Next"

When result checkbox is activated you'll get a list of results.

Tip:
Double clicking on a result row will position the cursor in the codification workbook.

Note:
Replacing is only possible for codification values.

Warning:
The option of replacing values is based on replacing the cell value (i.e. the complete cell content) and not on one or more characters located in the same cell. Example: If a cell value is XABB and we want to replace the character B with the character C then the result of the cell value will be C instead of XACC
