Single role

Grouping of activities within a business scenario.

A single role is sometimes referred to as a task.

Following single roles can exist in an SAP system:

• Master role (also called parent role or imparting role).
  Is a role that is not derived.
• Derived role.
  Derived roles inherit the transactions from their parent.
