Drag & drop

Dragging entities from the library or docking panels (Process hierarchy tree and Domains organization tree) and dropping them in tabulated areas within the detailed view of an individual entity is a quick and effective method to add and position new entries..

Typical examples of drag and drop:

 

• Building an organization tree using domains: Drag and drop domains from the library into the organization tree.
• Building a process hierarchy tree using process, risks, control objectives and control measures: Drag and drop processes, risks, control objectives and control measures from their individual libraries into the process tree.
• Adding roles to a user: Use the roles library and drag & drop roles from this library into the role tabulated area within user detail window.

You can select one or multiple records from the library, tree-view or any other form.

Or you can even select a grouping and drag & drop it to the grid.

Warning:
If you want to assign a process or a domain to other items (roles, involved persons, risk, etc), you need to select the process item or domain item from the tree-view (not the library).
