Remark: it is recommended to validate your codification before export.
To export a codification follow the instructions:
Codification > Export codification
The Codification export dialog window pops up.
Choose the type of export.
Depending on the choice you made the codification export window and its options may look differently.
A codification exported to AO or AA cannot be re-imported in the Accelerator. You can however import the codification into another SQL server database.
Select the export type.
Choose the location where the codification is to be saved.
Since the codification is saved as an Access Database, you can choose between Access 97 and Access 2000.
Authorization Organizer (AO) does not support actions, modules, extended1 and extended2, but you can merge these restrictions into the taskcode restriction.
After choosing the location and the desired options proceed further by clicking on Next button In the next screen use the checkboxes to select the desired sheets and modules to be exported.
Click on Export button to export.
Choose a location for the Authorization Auditor file to be exported.
Only the Variant options are available - all other options are grayed out.
Variants can be added to the existing list of variant, or all variants can be replaced with those from Accelerator.
Append variants : insert the new variants, keep the existing variants unchanged.
Replace variants: all existing variants in the AA file are removed and replaced with the list of variants from Accelerator.
After choosing the location where the AA file is to be saved, continue by clicking the Next button.
In the next screen use the checkboxes to select the desired modules to be exported.
Tip:
Flag the checkbox at the bottom left of the screen (see screenshot below) to active the save changes in the field definition - option.
If you flag this checkbox then all changes in the field definitions will be exported.
Click the Next button to proceed.
