Sunday November 20th, CSI tools' Johan Hermans and Meta Hoetjes will talk about the risks and pitfalls of SAP security, and the ways you can tackle them. This will be an interactive workshop about SAP Security. The participants will learn about the risks and pitfalls of SAP authorizations of the ABAP stack, the key item of SAP S/4HANA security. With SAP Fiori, SAP Security goes back to basics. At the end of the workshop, the participants will receive tips and tricks on how SAP roles can be built in an automated manner and how role content can be verified. Full automated role building is enabled by an authorization object based concept, guarantees SoD free roles and ensures that role content perfectly maps the role description.
On Monday November 21st, Johan Hermans and Meta Hoetjes will have a session at Connect 2016 regarding Security in SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori. During this session the attendee will learn more about the ways to set up new access rights in the new HANA platform. The way users and their access rights work in SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori will be explained in a thorough manner. Attendees will learn more about the ways they can re-use or change existing user access concepts from their ABAP environment, and implement these in the new HANA platform.
